Essential cookies cannot be declined as they are required for the Platform to function. Cookies set by Giftm are called "first-party cookies"; those set by third-party services are called "third-party cookies".

We also use similar technologies including web beacons (clear GIFs), pixel tags, and software development kit (SDK) trackers in our mobile applications. These function similarly to cookies and are governed by this Policy.

Withdrawing consent to non-essential cookies will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal. Some Platform features may become unavailable if non-essential cookies are declined. Global Privacy Control (GPC) / Do Not Track (DNT): Giftm honours GPC signals to the extent required by applicable law. If your browser sends a valid GPC signal, Giftm will automatically opt you out of non-essential cookies and marketing tracking. Essential security and session cookies will remain active regardless of GPC/DNT signals as they are required for Platform operation.

These include analytics providers (Google Analytics, Firebase), advertising networks, payment gateway providers, and social media platforms. 6. Mobile App Tracking

The Giftm mobile applications (iOS and Android) use equivalent tracking technologies including SDKs, device identifiers (IDFA / GAID), and app analytics tools. You may control tracking at the device level through iOS Privacy Settings (App Tracking Transparency) or Android Permissions settings. For Physical Print Order tracking, order status cookies and session data are used solely to maintain your order tracking state and are deleted upon session end.

7. Web Beacons & Pixel Tags

We use web beacons (clear GIFs) and pixel tags in our HTML emails and web pages to track email open rates, click-through rates, and campaign effectiveness. This data is linked to your email address where you are a registered user. You may opt out of email tracking by declining marketing communications in your account settings.

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a specified period (typically 30 days to 2 years) or until manually deleted.
